My 1 year old was coloring nicely at the table with his sister, I turned my back for 1 minute and found that he colored his chest (I was thankful he didn't have a shirt on), his hands and legs. Then after I wiped up what I could off of him I found him in the kitchen trying to get what I couldn't get off with the ktichen sponge wiping his chest!

I don't think there is a better canvas to a toddler, than the tummy!
Totally something my toddler would do, lol! He's such a cutie!

You gotta love the pickles they can get into with markers! I hope they were washable! We just spent yesterday getting markers off of my daughter's brand new white homework desk. My kids are in the same phase, so I know how you feel.
Cheers,
Char

Ha ha. Cute!
That's really ingenious of him to think of using the kitchen sponge to clean himself up. Happy WW
He is learning real fast! Helping himself after all. Thanks for hosting.

And that is what art is all about!
Always cracked me up when my kids colored on themselves. Not the walls mind you, but their bodies. =)
I remember those times! lol

Aww, he is so cute! My youngest girl is always doing these kind of things. She is doing the things which my two older kids never have done. :)

This reminds me of a time our DDs painted their faces with water colors. Thankfully the mess was an easy clean up, but we had our share of mishaps over the years - furniture, clothing, floor, wall, ... There is a simple unstated law which says, if you're a kid you gotta leave your mark on something - literally and multiples times, too! Thanks for sharing your cute Wordless Wednesday photo! =D
Uh-oh!!!
That's exactly what happens whenever my 2-year-old daughter gets out the paints. Thanks for sharing!
Awwww he was trying to be helpful.
Hahaha!

Love it that your little one tried to clean up with the sponge too!
So cute!
My daughter is the same way. She is her own best canvas! Thanks for the linky!
Oh my..too fun Mom! LOL
Blessings!
So cute!
Reminds me of my daughter a week ago. She got her hands on a permalink stamp pad in red. Was very proud she had painted herself. I first tried Dawn blue dish soap, didn't work. In a panic because her dad would have a fit I called my Mom, who suggested fingernail polish remover or alcohol. The alcohol and cotton ball worked. Thank goodness! Then a good amount of lotion to re-moisturize.
He's so cute I want to squeeze him! It only takes one minute, doesn't it? They're quick!
A little cutie having fun decorating himself and cleaning it up!
My daughter roller painted her whoe body once. fun times!
Isn't it great when they do this?!!? :)
Coloring ones self is much more fun than coloring the walls:)
You can show him these pics when he's considering a tattoo when he gets older LOL!
Adorable!
... And that is why I always had my little ones do their artwork in the tub. Seriously, I would tape the paper to the wall, pop them in the tub, and let them fingerpaint away. Then when the paper, wall, floor and child were completely covered I sprayed them all down with the shower. Sounds silly, but it worked!
my first link up!!
Yay for markers!!! Linking up today for the first time! :)
Sorry I'm late, but had doctor's appointment today with tests. So Hi everybody and thanks to you for the linky. Have a great day!

My son used to color himself from head to toe on a regular basis...and always right before a pediatrician visit, lol
